The purpose of Community Baptist Christian School is, "Training Young People to Lead Lives Blessed by God." We attempt to accomplish the message of this mission statement by doing the following:
Employing Christian teachers with a heart for the work of God and with a love for the young people of CBCS. Teaching young people how to live as well as how to make a living. Training young people with a Christian philosophy. Educating our students with a solid, academic curriculum. Praying for our young people to have a vision for the things of Christ. Providing a knowledge of and a burden for winning the lost souls of the world for Christ. Preaching the Word of God so our students will learn to put on the whole Armour of God.
CBCS -- Prayer List
Please Remember to Pray for the following:
The health of our teachers and students Spiritual wisdom for our teachers Spiritual growth for our young people For the salvation of any unsaved students For the senior class to be the spiritual leaders of the student body For our students to earnestly seek the Lord's will for their lives That our young people might be ministry minded For an increased enrollment of young people who will embrace a Christian philosophy That Pastor Jackson might have God's wisdom for the decisions he makes For the families of our staff For our graduates who are in college For our graduates who are in full-time Christian service For our graduates and their families to serve God That America's leaders would guide our country For President Bush as he leads our country during this time of trial That America might experience a genuine growth in Christian faith
Imagine a school where academics and the Bible are integrated into a seamless educational process which is intended to train the whole child. Think of a school where students are taught the basics of education and on how to make a living as well as the basics of the Bible and how to live. If you are imagining that type of school, you have imagined CBCS.
